About These Resources

These resources are provided as part of the BeHealth.Today process, from education to workshops to presenting to the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency. Developed by SDSU Social Policy InstituteCommunity Health Improvement Partners (CHIP) and The Idea Guy™, BeHealth.Today™ provides the opportunity for people with lived experience, family members and community groups to generate new approaches to uses of technology in behavioral health.

There are many issues related to behavioral health that impact our community, and there are many people in our community that have ideas that can help make change. If you, your colleague or group can invest your time to generate new ideas we’ll help you present them to potential funders for consideration.

Add your information to this document to start shaping your story. Be complete, but be succinct. The more info you add the longer it will take to read. Choose the most important info for each section and make sure you can “connect the dots” in your development, meaning how you got from one step to another.
The presentation PPT provides a slide for everything you need to communicate and aligns with the story sharing template.

Each slide in your presentation aligns with a bullet point in the story sharing template.
Each slide has enough room for bullet points, but not all of the copy in your story. Be sure to only include the most relevant bullet points in your slide, then use your story to speak to each bullet.
Include artifacts from your story – drawings, pictures and graphics – to help tell your story. Be sure your audience can understand what they are, and why they are relevant to your story.
  • Assignment: Create Project Narrative – a written story using your template that becomes the script for your presentation.
